Dresner Partners Hires W. Robert Friedman Jr. as Managing Director

DRESNER PARTNERS HIRES W. ROBERT FRIEDMAN JR.
AS MANAGING DIRECTOR



CHICAGO – November 7, 2014 – Dresner Partners announced today that it has hired W. Robert Friedman, Jr. as Managing Director.  Mr. Friedman has more than 35 years of healthcare investment banking and research experience, with a strong focus on domestic and overseas medical device companies.   
 
Mr. Friedman joined Dresner Partners from Northeast Securities, Inc., where he was a managing director.  Prior to that, he was the co‐head of Burnham Securities healthcare investment banking practice for seven years.         Mr. Friedman has also run the healthcare practice for Dominick & Dominick, and was a managing director at the British merchant bank Flemings, where he ran the healthcare industry group for five years and worked extensively with U.S. and international healthcare companies.  He has also worked for Citibank, Montgomery Securities, Prudential Bache, and L.F. Rothschild, Unterberg Towbin.

During his career Mr. Friedman has represented and worked with numerous leading domestic and European medical device companies.  He also served on the board of directors for MaxiCare Health Plans, Inc., Alta Bates Hospital, and Mount Zion Hospital.  Currently, Mr. Friedman sits on the board of directors for The Children’s Health Fund, New York City, and the Citizens Committee for New York City.

Mr. Friedman earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and holds an M.B.A. from the university’s Wharton School.  He is also an Army veteran.
